Welcome to [THX 2022](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/thx-2022/222) proposal!

THX will happen from July 10th untill July 20th in [Ozeraine (Eus)](https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/43.38016/-0.94857) (see [practical infos](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/synchronise-logistics/227))

Breaking though “after, everyone goes home, and nothing has changed.”

As customary with THX, in the follow-up of [Présence Solidaire](https://thx.zoethical.org/pub/presence-solidaire) we propose for the coming THX to deepen the already engaged subjects.

We propose you to spend the 10 days together and think along those lines:

## Radical Care

_We’re always confronted with the question of food._

### From Speculative Cannibalisms to _Commensality_

[_Speculative Cannibalisms_](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/cannibalismes-speculatifs-pour-un-postspecisme-ecocentrique/184) invited us to shake the limits of our conceptions of the food chain to incite us to take up our entire understanding of the position of human life on Earth.

There’s only one planet Earth and all its inhabitants, from bacteria and mushrooms to large mammals, feed from our mutual interactions. As we mentioned in Présence Solidaire,

> We see, in our ultraliberal, madly capitalist world, that everything our production system touches is immediately destroyed, just like the legendary King Midas who turned everything he touched into gold, until he could no longer eat or drink. These fatal consequences are borne by all ecosystems and by the most vulnerable people in our society.

Although we’re very much dependent on capitalism, what interests us here is to imagine integrating commensality (with all living beings) to _live together_ and _externalize back the cost of domination to capitalism_.

Can we create other forms of solidarity and avoid commercial transactions within our communities?

_Networks of_ communities / cooperative(s) / commune(s):

- mutualism of costs
- decrease in the standard of living _with the aim to emancipate ourselves from the capitalist system_ (as much as possible)
- it raises, among others, the question of handling fragility (from disease to end of life)

## Resistance Networks

_People live individually: the culture of resistance is very different. Please synchronize._

### Deepening **Software Syndicalism**

Crops have been ripening over the last few years, we see many occurrences and synchronizations of alliances that materialize concrete action about software syndicalism. It opens a shared mental space to imagine its possible developments.

Previously we considered [_software syndicalism_](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/on-software-syndicalism/171) as the relationship between developers and their users in proximity to address power issues within the scope of a single software ; yet, is there not also a proximity among developers working on distinct software around common specifications that could as well present a form of software syndicalism?

1. To make concrete the current notion in our peer network, e.g., from the [OFFDEM O₂ P2P Assembly](https://pad.public.cat/s/offdem-o2-p2p-assembly). We can discuss ways to create a software syndicate of our own.

2. To pursue considering the stigmergy between software developers working around the same specification, e.g.: ActivityPub, where developers discuss and agree on implementations, and consider their ecosystem as a cooperative space. How to syndicate to amplify diversity?

## Speculative Fiction

_Doing (some) good. Assert ourselves together._

To sustain a Common _and_ diversity (unity in diversity).

We’ve been talking about speculative fiction since day one, but did we take the time to actually make some? Nope. Here is the **best goodie** of this upcoming THX session: _petites singularités_ bring a ludic way to _game the system_ and create speculative fiction narratives to bring `<3` to the world.

## Practical Information

To synchronise within THX between the 10th and 20th of July 2022, join us in Ozaraine, on foot, by car, on horseback, by bike, by train, all means are appropriate but the airport is quite far.  
We will welcome you to the best of our ability in a beautiful countryside rich in magnificent production, but it is all of us who will make the residence and all decisions will be collegial.

Comme de coutume avec THX, dans le prolongement de [Présence Solidaire](https://thx.zoethical.org/pub/presence-solidaire) nous proposons pour le prochain THX d’approfondir les sujets déjà engagés.

Nous vous proposons de passer ces 10 jours ensemble et de réfléchir dans ce sens :

## Soins radicaux

_Nous sommes toujours confronté·e·s à la question de la nourriture._

### Des cannibalismes spéculatifs à la commensalité

Les [_cannibalismes spéculatifs_](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/cannibalismes-speculatifs-pour-un-postspecisme-ecocentrique/184) nous invitait à ébranler les limites de nos conceptions de la chaîne alimentaire pour nous inciter à reprendre l’ensemble de notre entendement de la position de la vie humaine sur Terre.

Il n’y a qu’une seule planète Terre et tous ses habitants, des bactéries et champignons aux grands mammifères, se nourrissent de nos interactions mutuelles. Comme nous l’avons évoqué dans Présence Solidaire,

### Approfondissement du Syndicalisme Logiciel

Les cultures ont mûri ces dernières années, nous voyons de nombreuses occurrences et synchronisations d’alliances qui matérialisent des actions concrètes sur le syndicalisme logiciel. Cela ouvre un espace mental partagé pour imaginer ses développements possibles.

Auparavant, nous avons considéré le [\_syndicalisme logiciel](https://thx.zoethical.org/t/a-propos-du-syndicalisme-logiciel/185) comme une relation de proximité entre des développ·eur·euse·s et leurs utilisat·eur·rice·s pour résoudre des problèmes de pouvoir dans le cadre d’un seul logiciel ; pourtant, n’existe-t-il pas aussi une proximité entre des développ·eur·euse·s travaillant sur des logiciels distincts autour de spécifications communes qui pourrait aussi bien présenter une forme de syndicalisme logiciel ?

- Pour rendre concrète la notion actuelle dans notre réseau de pairs, par exemple, à partir de [l’assemblée P2P OFFDEM O₂](https://pad.public.cat/s/offdem-o2-p2p-assembly). Nous pouvons discuter des moyens de créer un syndicat logiciel qui nous est propre.

- Poursuivre la prise en compte de la stigmergie entre les développ·eur·euse·s de logiciels travaillant autour d’une même spécification, par ex : ActivityPub, où les développ·eur·euse·s discutent et se mettent d’accord sur les implémentations, et considèrent leur écosystème comme un espace coopératif. Comment se syndiquer pour amplifier la diversité ?

## Fiction spéculative

Nous parlons de fiction spéculative depuis le premier jour, mais avons-nous pris le temps d’en créer ? Non, pas du tout. Voici le **meilleur _goodie_** de cette prochaine session THX : les _petites singularités_ apportent une façon ludique de _se jouer du système_ et créer des récits de fiction spéculative pour apporter du \<3 au monde.

## Infos pratiques

Pour Synchroniser au sein de THX entre le 10 et le 20 Juillet 2022 rejoignez-nous à Ozaraine, à pied en voiture à cheval, à vélo, en train, tous les moyens sont appropriés mais l’aéroport est assez loin.  
Nous vous accueillons au meilleur de nos moyens dans une belle campagne riche de magnifique production, mais c’est nous tous qui feront la résidence et toutes les décisions seront collégiales.
